Tim and Wanda's landscaping business started with a simple Christmas gift - a wheelbarrow from a family friend. They loved working with it so much that they started taking on landscaping projects for families in their local area. It didn't take long for people to notice their amazing work, and soon enough, they had over 80 yards to work on in their first year! Now, they're the creative minds behind Alfordable Services, where Wanda designs stunning landscapes, and Tim manages all the projects.
The project was a bit of a rush because they wanted to finish up before Spring rolled around. That way, they'll have plenty of time to promote and schedule landscaping, pressure washing, and other services.
COLOR PALETTE
Previously, the company utilized orange in its advertising tools, such as business cards, yard signs, and T-shirts, to promote its services which include pressure washing, painting, and organizing. Adding green to the color palette was necessary for their landscaping service to complete the overall branding image while still keeping the orange as the main color in the palette.
Design Process
I love the story behind Alfordable Services. They started their landscaping business with just a wheelbarrow they got for Christmas. When I saw their business card, I had an idea to use their trusty wheelbarrow in their new logo. It's a perfect nod to their humble beginnings and also represents the high-quality services they provide. The new design incorporates the wheelbarrow, which connects the company to its roots while also capturing the essence of the work they do.

Alfordable services cater to a wonderful crowd of experienced and wise folks - senior citizens. I make sure our typography is carefully chosen, ensuring that it's both beautiful and easy to read. I designed Yard Signs, Door Hangers, and Dcal for the Pick-up Truck.
Website Design
A website was designed for Alfordable Services that was visually appealing as well as easy to navigate. The website showcased the services they offer, such as landscaping, hardscaping, Pressure Washing. Mulching etc., along with images of before and after projects. It also includes customer testimonials and contact information to make it easy for potential customers to get in touch.
