Focus on feelings reawakens creativity.

You must have learned about me if you delved into my site, but if you stumbled upon my blog, no worries ;). My name is Diksha. I claim to be a graphic designer. Defining one's role is inappropriate when we possess so much varied talents. It might be necessary in the professional world. However, we are more than that. I am sure everyone would agree to this.
Every time I connect millions of dots in the right hemisphere of my thinking organ to give wings to my imagination and contribute something novel and fruitful. It is like soaking yourself in the meditation experience. The outcome may not be what I hoped for, but the journey is. It offers me both pleasure and enjoyment. The more mistakes I make, the more I learn.
Our mind always yearns to learn new things. In learning adventure, we repeatedly strive for perfection. Excessive perfectionism can block your creativity. I may consider it an asset at work, but it leads to higher stress, unable to meet deadlines, lower productivity, and unfinished tasks. I have been its victim. Over the years, I have learned to guard myself against disappointment and circular thinking. I set reasonable goals and make time for creative projects and planning.
Ideas out of the box require a relaxed and peaceful mind. I get myself to indulge in home DIY projects, spend time with nature, take care of a little garden that needs love, hit the right notes of my favorite song on the piano, try a new recipe shared by my friend, and color Mandalas with glitter pens with my daughter. Yes, any task that creates a result releases a feel-good chemical in our brain that motivates us. The research proves that giving yourself a mental space and focusing on feelings reawakens creativity. The brain craves satisfaction and confidence. When we carry this flow of prime motivation and happiness back to our work, it will lead to more creative engagement.
To renew my love for writing, I added a blog page to Designdelights. It will give me a chance to share a sneak peek behind-the-scenes inspirations, hurdles, the progress of my projects, and other fun stuff that comes to mind.
